The newest commercial just dropped for the Sony Bravia LCD television . It is the 3rd in a series of awesome commercials based on the concept “colour like no other”. The latest one features play-doh bunnies morphing into different things while one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs plays in the background. I still really like the Jose Gonzalez bouncy ball one filmed in SF the best. This one is pretty rad also, no cg, just enviromentally safe paint and a clown. Each one taking the concept of color to a whole new level.
Enjoy.

Very funny Nick. I watched all 3 videos and never saw a purple carrot. No really, this is good stuff. I didn’t believe you about the “no cg” in the exploding paint video, until I stumbled across the “making of” video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz0Zadr0_Kc&NR=1

Guys, Check This out, apparently the company who did this ad, Passion Pictures Animation, asked for some paintings from a Los Angeles artist know as Kozyndan who loves to draw little animals… so the rumor is, they asked for samples of his work, never ended up hiring him, but used his ideas and sketches on the ad…. Gizmodo has something to say about it…

Same news…. now in portuguese…. found in OMEDi:

Parece que o comercial dos coelhinhos da Sony Bravia foi uma idéia chupada de quadros de Kozydan, um artista de Los Angeles que adora desenhar bichinhos. O site Gizmodo diz que a Passion Pictures Animation aparentemente deu um “güento” na idéia do cara depois de pedir amostras do seu trabalho e nunca dar um retorno. Sacanagem!

that part was just for fun ;)
