		<description>Wow.  The day has finally come...Robert's first blog post.  I was thinking it would be about guns or an Apple rumor.  Kudos to Robert for being the first to make a political post.  

With so many examples of failed attempts of socialized medicine (Canada, Cuba, Sweden, England, etc.), why do politicians continue to push for it?  So they can get elected and be famous.   Making a promise to (misguided, ignorant) voters that their Healthcare will be taken care of sounds like a dream come true.  It's an easy sell for voters who don't do their homework.</description>
