Have you ever called a company with some problem, or for any other reason and got caught in an endless maze of electronic answering systems? Found yourself desperately looking for an operator in vain? How frustrating is it when all you want is an answer and you get is “if this is about a new account please press 3″?
A new website promises to solve those issues. The site is called Get Human (http://www.gethuman.com) and it tells you what to answer or choose to get to a human operator as fast as you can. The database is really extensive and has most of the big companies in it.

Take a peek at the latest post from Brand New. I can’t help but think that Mass Art borrowed Album’s infamous orange color and newly adopted typeface.
It is real now. The San Clemente Jamba Juice has just opened across the street from our office.
In a homage to the company I think I will post a video of the SNL program with Natalie Portman where she works at the Jamba Juice. ”what boost do you want with that?”

Yesterday I had a peanut butter sandwich and I enjoyed immensely. I hadn’t had one in awhile because I went through a phase where I kept eating those Smucker’s Uncrustables and got pretty burnt out from the PB&J. Anyway, as I was enjoying my snack I thought about my sister in law who has a nut allergy and how she has never experienced the glorious world of nut products. Now that sucks. Could you imagine a life with no pecan pie, no peanut butter cookies, no Ms. May’s organic cashew clusters, or get this… trail mix without the almonds or peanuts??? My deepest sympathy goes out to any one with a nut allergy.
If you do know someone with a nut allergy here is a cool product that I stumbled across:

for all those who didnt get a chance to check out the swarm of bees that had located themselves right outside our office here is a candid shot. so crazy. all you that are allergic can rest easy, at the expense of thousands of innocent bee lives the swarm was brutally massacred, by whom and how is still under investigation.

I saw this short animation and thought it was pretty rad. Real simple drawings, but a cool idea. Done by Jay Howell.
It’s not a joke. This is for real.
It was announced today that the first two films in Pixar’s sole and signature franchise, Toy Story and Toy Story 2, are headed back to movie screens October 2nd, 2009 and February 12th, 2010, respectively, with a complete digital 3D makeover, called Disney Digital 3D to be exact. The films will be an audience primer for Disney-Pixar’s digital 3D Toy Story 3, which hits screens on June 18th, 2010. John Lasseter, director of the first two Toy films and a Pixar poobah, is supervising the 3D process on both, while director Lee Unkrick continues his work on the second sequel.
